[Jormungandr actually catches the punch in one hand, stopping Thor. It's really rather amusing, he could probably crush Thor's hand right now, if he wanted to. It would be so easy. It would be so easy just to kill him.
...but ultimately, that victory would be hollow, meaningless. The only death that matters is the final one, and this is not Ragnarok.
So Jormungandr will just stand there, holding Thor's fist in his, and squeeze just a little, just to show Thor what he could do, but won't.]
